My setup with thanks to NICK on Ebay and to everyone who contributed to affording it.
Thought i would show off the tools which have been provided by supporters.
So here she is, an upgrade from my previous setup which was nothing on this.
Leica DM2000 Microscope with options for polarizing filters, DIC, Phase contrast, And Fluorescence microscopy.
BigEYE 10000KPA 10.3MP FULL SIZE CCD USB3.0 Camera with high FPS.
1.20x Reduction lense.
50x and 100x oil Dark field objectives.
10x, 20x, 25x, 40x, 60x, dry objectives.
Dark field cutout, hoping to get a dark field condenser that fits, the insanely kind Nick from Ebay kindly offered to send me an Amscope he has.
Toupview software which i am finding to be very irritating of late. It has been very good but It has occasional glitches and freezes. The drivers sometimes hang or malfunction out of the blue. I may look out for a TWAIN compatible software elsewhere.
I must say the camera exceded my expectations for £473 all the way from china. It uses the sony IMX294 CCD which is rather good with its low light sensitivity and huge industrial CCD. The specs are in the range of branded products that would at least double this. I recommend it highly so far. I can see so much it disturbs me.
The Leica DM2000 basic model was roughly £9000 new with its own objectives supplied. I got this from Nick for £450 plus some goodies thrown in but without the very pricey objectives that come with it. He kindly gave me the 50x and 100x oil objectives with it which are also not cheap. I would love in time to see if i can get the original Leica infinity PL objectives that go with this scope since they are superior to the ones i am using. But so far it is all amazing quality appearing on screen. Cant thank Nick and everyone else enough. The reduction lense was £150 from china and is an M42 big thread fitting instead of the smaller C-mount used on non industrial cameras
That's a bargain!,
you got it From Nick,
you got it For nicks,
That's not a lot,
When your friends sick,
And your doing forensics!
Kick ass dude! You are really setting up the benchmark for what people need in order to see this stuff for what it really is.
