As for the misshapen RBC's in the 2nd video, Patti makes some good arguments about possible causes for the spikier ones, but on the whole they all look to be in bad shape, but it is after all not fresh blood sample.

I would do a peripheral blood smear with a stain. That should allow you to see the contents better. Obviously it wouldn’t be a live sample.
Have been staining for 3 years. 8 think 8 posted some images a while back.
