Even though this microscopy is so far above the level of mine I will share it with my audience even though i can expect to lose a few to such superior work.

Stunning work. and welcome to what we hope remains a free speech , and microscopy , site.

Thanks for putting me onto this Matt. Substack seems to be a very easy way to post my stuff. I am very impressed at the quality of your microscopy so far and the speed at which you seem to be learning more. If we could all do that then maybe between the people it would make such horrors harder to distribute to the masses.

Great thanks to both of you for shedding so much light, literally and figuratively on the subject. Having peered into a microscope for three decades of cytologic and histologic diagnosis, I think it's time I contribute what I can to the Microscopic Army's Live Blood Analysis efforts. Currently looking for scopes, trinocular/digital/darkfield as well as something portable for doing LBA on the fly. Any recommendations much appreciated!

Scary stuff. Thanks for posting. I made a Kofee donation.

What should a microscopy beginner use to do their own blood exams?

Thanks so much. I would look into some of the live blood analysis courses. I think Dr Ana Milhalcea offers one that's good. I studied from many sources online, but not necessary biased towards live blood as much as hematology. I use a stereo microscope, a dedicated dark field condenser is advised to be included with it. Hope this helps.
